Dr. Sylvain Moreno is tenured faculty at SFU’s School of Interactive Arts and Technology and Special Advisor to the Office of the VP Research and International. His research focuses on neurotechnologies and their implications for education and rehabilitation. He is the recipient of numerous national and international awards and his work has been featured in a variety of media, including television and newsprint.

Chief Operating Officer

Tom Philpott MBA, MHA, CHE has over fifteen years of health care and research operations experience, including work at McGill University Health Centre, Capital District Health Authority and Providence Health Care. He has been in Executive Directors roles of two national not-for-profits: the Community for Excellence in Health Governance and Kids Brain Health Network, a Network of Centres of Excellence. Amongst his numerous volunteer interests, he has been a member of the admissions team for the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University for almost ten years.

Senior Director, Strategy and Innovation

Loki Jörgenson is a dynamic tech leader that brings over 20 years of entrepreneurship expertise, having worked across academia and the private sector. A former CTO in Vancouver and the Bay area, Loki provided strategic vision to a myriad of tech startups, while developing IP in emerging technologies for IT, finance, and the medical fields. Throughout his career, Loki has been a founding member of several early NCEs, president of BC non-profit societies, and he was also involved in social impact for-profits.
