Position Summary:
Project Managers supports ongoing collaborative projects undertaken between Digital Health Circle (DHC) and external stakeholders. Project Managers assist DHC in the completion of these collaborative projects by monitoring project plans to ensure timely and on-budget completion. As part of this, Project Managers are responsible for organizing appropriate resources for successful and timely project completion, and oversee Project Coordinators in the successful completion of projects. Project Managers are accountable for the scheduling of equipment and working hours for all project personnel (e.g. Research Assistants), providing ongoing immediate project oversight, and providing regular reports to the Director of Innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, timelines, schedules, budget & expenses, and working hours of project personnel
Ensuring that all project deadlines are met and updating the Director of Innovation as necessary, to threats to project deadlines
Recommending changes to project timelines and/or resources to the Director of Innovation, as necessary
Assess project risks, identify project issues and provide solutions where possible and applicable
Undertaking project tasks as required to ensure successful completion
Defining a project management calendar to fulfill project goals and objectives
Ensuring projects adhere to agreed-upon frameworks, and ensuring that appropriate documentation is maintained for projects
Organizing, attending and participating in meetings with project stakeholders and personnel
Preparing all necessary presentation materials for project meetings
Documenting and following up on relevant action-items and decisions arising from meetings
Where necessary and appropriate, chairing and leading meetings with stakeholders
Ensuring that stakeholder views are managed towards successful project completion
Providing administrative support on an as-needed basis
Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in human sciences, computing sciences, project management or other related field of study
Minimum three years work experience in project management or other supervisory capacity
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
Excellent ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team
Very strong experience with computing and office productivity solutions
Strong familiarity with Google productivity software (e.g. GSuite)
Experience with project management software a strong asset
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Ability to train, mentor, supervise and develop others
